We delivered Thanksgiving “thinking of you” bags to 17 households for members who may not be able to get out and come to church.
Christmas Fair
For the Christmas Fair, we will be making chicken and rice soup. Some of the ingredients have been donated by the Wilton Lyndeborough Women’s Club. In the interest of keeping our social distance, the soups will be sold cold in 2 cup containers. Bread and butter will be included in the price of the soup. All proceeds from the sale of the soup will go into the fair revenue.
We will be making donations to the following groups in early December:
- $250.00 to the Wilton Lyndeborough Women’s Club to support their Christmas giving efforts
- $250.00 to the Christmas store
- $150.00 to Bridges to support their domestic and sexual violence prevention program
- $150.00 to the Nashua Children’s Home
- We continue to support the Parent’s Cafe, a grassroots effort to provide parents with support and an avenue for them to exchange and share ideas.
Open Cupboard Follow Up
As a follow-up to October’s Walk for the Open Cupboard Pantry, the final total raised was $3500.00. Thanks again to all who made this a success.
