Rising Cost of Utilities

Costs are rising all across the board. With the price of heating oil hovering around $5.00 per gallon, everyone needs to pay attention to the thermostats and make sure they are turned down to 60 degrees before leaving the building.

We are moving winter services to the parish hall once Christmas is past, to conserve heating oil in the sanctuary. In December, you may want to carry a lap blanket to stay cozy!

Additionally, the cost of electricity is much higher than last year, as we can all see from our personal bills. If no one is in the room, please turn off the lights. This includes leaving the hall and kitchen unlit during services and not leaving bathroom lights on when we lock up and leave.
