ICEstruments
The unique challenges posed by dissolving instruments seem to increase their impact. “ICEstruments” sculptor Tim Linhart says concertgoers, whose bodies also are largely composed of water, often feel a “spiritual connection” to the music.
Although people don’t melt, our physical bodies eventually return to ashes and dust. Despite that impermanence, God created us as wonderful instruments to make joyful noises for him: “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6).
