Walk for Open Cupboard Pantry
On October 16, Church Missions sponsored a benefit walk for the Open Cupboard Pantry. By the end of the weekend, we raised over $2,700 with more pledges and company matches to come. Thank you to everyone who contributed, either by walking or donating or both! The money raised will all be given to the Open Cupboard. We are hoping to do this again next fall, with more community participation.
Chemo Caps
On Saturday, November 13 the 3rd annual Pink Revolution Chemo Care Package event will be held. Church Missions contributed 12 chemo caps which will be included in care packages to patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Linus blanket project
We completed 12 more fleece blankets for the Linus Project. There is a continuous need to keep hospitals, women’s shelters, and police and rescue facilities stocked with blankets for when a child needs comfort. If you would like to participate, please speak to someone in Missions.
